This validation Pop Ups to the user, when any parent document is in open state in another branch or company.

For Example :- If any service estimate/ Service Appointment is opened in another branch/company.





Resolution :


Step 1 :

Kindly connect with the DMS User of your team who has access to all branch documents, confirm whether any Service Estimate / Service Appointment / Vehicle Inward Document is opened in another branch.

Step 2 :

Close/ Cancel the open document for that vehicle and then proceed to create a new document in required branch for the same vehicle.


In the above example, a service estimate was in Open State in below highlighted branch,



Hence user was facing validation while creating inward in another branch of the same company. Now, if user cancel this open service estimate, so system will allow it to open any new document for this vehicle in its branch for the mentioned vehicle.



Step 3 :

Create a new document after cancellation/closure of the existing document.
